Hi, I'm Chris and I design and make unique cushions.
During lockdown I did a lot of sewing and and clothes alterations for my daughter. I eventually managed to teach her how to alter her own clothes! - But I had fallen in love with the creative process of sewing and found it quite therapeutic.
I was passing my local soft furnishing shop which sadly was closing down and I felt compelled to rescue the fabric sample books which were to be discarded - all perfect examples of beautiful fabrics which would never be used.
I started piecing them together into unique patchwork cushions in different styles, for my own home first, then family and friends.
I love the idea of rescuing discarded fabric gems and fashioning them into new and beautiful designs. I really enjoy the process and have continued to produce these lovely cushions.
I like to make several styles of cushion, or collections, to suit all tastes. They are available "off the shelf" in singles or collections, but for a truly bespoke product, I can make them to perfectly complement your own home colour-scheme.
